Dear friend
Happy new year! Goodbye 2020! We all know a magic wand isn't going to be waved on the 1st of January that makes everything all okay again, but here's hoping 2021 is the year that we'll get to make up for 2020; the year we re-purpose our lives, our bucket lists are resumed and where we all get to give ourselves a much-needed reward to compensate for last few months.
In Greek mythology, Icarus is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. Icarus and his father attempted to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. According to legend despite his father's warnings...
...Icarus flew too close to the sun and the wax on his wings melted and he tumbled out of the sky and fell into the sea where he drowned. Daedalus wept for his son and called the nearest land Icaria and the surrounding sea, Icarian Sea.
The people living there have the longest life rate in the world together with Sardinia in Italy, Okinawa of Japan, Nicoya of Costa Rica and Loma Linda of California. But what is their secret?
It’s been 25 years since we started sailing and exploring the Greek islands and still we search and discover their hidden myths and mysteries. A lifetime is probably not enough…

Here are some tips for you...
- Book Early to Avoid Disappointment: We're already seeing a lot of demand for the 2nd half of 2021. With new social distancing measures and a pent-up demand from postponed trips from last year, availability may well be a challenge, especially during the high season.

Our peace of mind guarantee allows you to make plans now worry-free... with only a small deposit, free postponement of your booking for any reason (even last minute) and free cancellation up to one month before the beginning of the holiday.
- Getting There: Be prepared to have a test prior to flying. Consider how you travel to your destination and maybe visit countries with shorter flight times or choose to take the train or ferry if possible.
- Be Open Minded and flexible in case travel advice and regulations change last minute and you have to change your plans.
- Health & Safety: Request health and safety procedures of the company or accommodation you will choose. The health and safety of our customers is our top priority, even in ‘normal’ times we have a health and safety program. Request our procedure at This email address is being protected from spambots.
