Adventure Afloat; Explore Ashore

Old footpaths criss-cross the islands of the Cyclades. There are rustic and abandoned villages to be explored, ruined medieval castles, remote chapels and Byzantine churches, abandoned ancient statues and beaches only reached on foot or by boat. You can hike up to a monastery clinging to a hillside, to the site of an ancient temple or scramble down to secluded coves in fjord-like inlets. You can be as adventurous as you like...

As you walk you’ll be surprised by grazing goats, lizards sunning themselves, vultures, buzzards, falcons circling slowly overhead, the scents of herbs and wild flowers. The views change spectacularly even on the small rocky islands with steep hills and colourful cliffs. The majority of our walks are led by a member of the crew or a specialist wildlife guide.

If you enjoy walking holidays then one of our sailing and walking adventures might be the next thing to try. If you have never sailed then don't worry as our skipper will show you around the boat so that you can participate in sailing the boat.
